Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a UX Design Director in the United States to shape the future of educational technology. You will lead a dedicated design team, set strategy, and mentor designers, delivering modern, intuitive experiences grounded in customer insights and data.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to embed UX principles, evolve standards, and drive significant product improvements. A portfolio is required, with compensation reflecting leadership at scale.

Qualifications

Senior UX Design leadership experience with 3+ years managing design teams of 10+.
Deep expertise in UX/UI design principles and human-centered design methodologies.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners.
Outstanding leadership with a track record of mentoring teams.
A portfolio is required to be considered for this position.
