UX Content Strategist (6-Month Contract)

Remote - U.S. Based

A leading consumer finance platform is seeking a senior-level UX Content Strategist to join their product team on a contract basis.

In this role, you’ll help transform complex financial topics into approachable, engaging user experiences across products, emails, and marketing touchpoints. You’ll partner with designers, PMs, and researchers to shape content strategy and write copy that informs, delights, and builds trust.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, concise, and on-brand product copy across web and mobile experiences
• Contribute to content strategy that supports users through their full journey
• Create compelling email communications and microcopy that engage and educate
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure content and design work seamlessly together
• Use data, testing, and feedback to refine and improve content performance
• Help identify opportunities where tone, storytelling, and content design can elevate the product

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or product content strategy
• A strong portfolio of work showcasing thoughtful user experiences and copy
• Ability to balance creativity with structure — you can work within a system, but know when to push boundaries
• Passion for simplifying complex information and crafting content with empathy
• Bonus: Experience writing about financial topics like investing or personal finance
