Work with Applause, collaborating with a global financial services provider, to craft user-centric content and a digital experience that enhances user satisfaction. You will integrate UX writing and storytelling with insights from user behavior science and content strategy, ensuring a cohesive narrative across all platforms.
Basic Terms:
- Type: 1099-Freelance
- Location: US-based remote
- Hours: Variable but on average, 20-30 hours weekly
- Pay: $60 to $70 USD per hour
Expectations:
- Craft clear, engaging content that effectively clarifies complex concepts for diverse audiences, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Adopt brand voice to produce clear, concise, and engaging content that communicates complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences
- Format approved work for integration in Figma design files, JIRA subtasks, and internal tracking documents.
Day-to-day content development:
- Draft customer-focused micro-content for new and existing user experiences
- Must include supporting content rationale
- Research group template, product resources, and project specs are provided
- Content practice standards are provided
- Collaborate with the research group design team to prepare content for partner review
- Figma design template or mock-ups
- Iterate content based on partner feedback, updates to brief etc.
- Format approved content for insertion in JIRA editor subtask and AEM table
Resource documentation support:
- Compare and document product-specific nomenclature against primary content guidelines
- Format for addition to existing product-specific playbooks
- Observe and document experience/product-specific content patterns
- Format and add to existing design team's content library
- Support ongoing competitive analysis of content practices
Qualifications and Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Design, HCI or related certifications
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Highly collaborative
- Strong grounding in UX Design and Research principals
- Design Tool(s) proficiency such as Figma, Sketch, etc.
