Job Title: FPGA UVM Verification Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled FPGA UVM Verification Engineer with a strong experience in networking to join our innovative team. The FPGA Verification Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans for FPGA designs, with a focus on networking applications. This role requires expertise in Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and a solid understanding of networking protocols and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive verification plans for FPGA designs, ensuring all functional requirements are met.
  • Create and maintain UVM-based test benches to verify FPGA designs.
  • Perform simulation, debugging, and analysis of FPGA designs to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate closely with FPGA design engineers to understand design specifications and requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of networking protocols, such as Ethernet and TCP/IP, to verify FPGA designs in networking applications.
  • Develop and implement automated verification scripts and tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of verification processes, results, and issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in FPGA verification methodologies and networking technologies.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in UVM, SystemVerilog, and FPGA design tools such as Vivado and Quartus.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA verification, with a focus on UVM and networking.
  • UVMF knowledge is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is remote, working with a team of 6-7 professionals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $190000.00/hr.
