Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) seeks a UTSW/PAUT Level II Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Englewood, Colorado. You will perform Ultrasonic Shear Wave and Phased Array inspections on welds, components, and structures per applicable codes and client specs.

You will set up and calibrate ultrasonic equipment, review procedures, interpret indications, develop scan plans, and document results for engineers and clients. Travel locally and regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Level II certification in UTSW and PAUT, or equivalent NDT certifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or coursework in nondestructive testing preferred.
• Strong proficiency in ultrasonic examination of welds and components.
• Experience setting up, calibrating, and operating ultrasonic and phased array equipment.
• Knowledge of AWS, ASME, API standards or similar standards.
• Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform UTSW and PAUT inspections on welds, components, and structures.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate ultrasonic and phased array equipment.
• Review job requirements, procedures, standards, and client specifications.
• Interpret ultrasonic and PAUT indications.
• Develop scan plans as required.
• Verify the quality of inspection data and prepare reports.
• Document inspection findings and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Ensure activities comply with safety procedures and ATS policies.
• Support field projects and related NDT methods as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines during field and shop activities.
