You will be responsible for performing examinations of materials and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in UT methods and possess additional NDT certifications, such as MT, PT, or RT. You will work independently and in a team environment, interfacing with managers and clients to meet expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have NDT Level II certification.
• Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Summary

ATS is seeking NDT Level II Techs with Advanced UT (Shearwave and PAUT) plus additional NDT certs (MT/PT/RT a plus) to support our Charlotte, NC office. This is a permanent position for local candidates and those willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC region.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees.
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
• Be able to prepare written instructions and to organize and report the results of examinations.
• Work independently and support team members. Perform other job related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
