University Bus Drivers operate activity buses ranging in size from 22 passengers to 44 passengers. A North Carolina State University Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students, faculty, staff, and school affiliates to and from designated locations. These locations may be within the same city or different cities. Trips may be field trips or labs to extend the academic experience, sporting events, or other extracurricular activities. Since the University Bus Driver accommodates student/faculty schedules, they generally work unusual hours. He/she may work early morning, late evening, or weekends. The Bus Driver maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the bus itself.
This role is expected to last 11 months with the potential to extend.
Must have a valid North Carolina CDL, Class A/B with passenger endorsement, no restrictions, and air brakes.
Monday-Sunday, varied hours between 7am - 9pm. Guarantee 3 paid hours.
