Job summary

Skeyes in Wisconsin is seeking an OPS project partner to drive the integration of UTM into the ATM framework. You will coordinate changes with technical/operational experts, gather insights, and participate in international meetings to align with evolving UTM trends and regulations.

The role requires a keen aviation interest, knowledge of ATM, and strong teamwork, with English proficiency and French or Dutch language skills. Security screening is required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Proposing adjustments in working methods and procedures to integrate UTM into the ATM concept and assess impacts.
• Ensure limited adjustments to workflows, route structure and coordination, including with other centres.
• Contribute to methods and procedures that guarantee safety and performance in day-to-day operations under the LoA.
• Assist with technical and operational developments to guarantee optimal UTM service.
• As an OPS project partner, coordinate development and implementation of changes related to UTM working methods with experts.
• Gather, filter, interpret and communicate ideas to team members.
• Participate in internal/external working groups and international meetings to keep skeyes informed and adaptable.

Overview

Identifying and analysing challenges involved in integrating UTM into the ATM concept. This includes among other things:

• looking for possible implications and feasibility in the operational, technical and safety fields;
• taking into account the needs and risks relating to the use of airspace.

Responsibilities

Proposing adjustments in working methods and operational procedures to integrate UTM into the ATM concept and identifying the impact. This includes among other things:

• ensuring the (often limited) adjustments to be made to the way of working, the route structure and the coordination (including the coordination with other centres);
• contributing to working methods and operational procedures that guarantee safety and performance in the framework of day-to-day operations and provision of services under the LoA;
• providing assistance with technical and operational developments in order to guarantee an optimal and efficient UTM service.

As an OPS project partner, coordinating the development and implementation of necessary technical and operational changes related to UTM working methods and procedures with technical and operational experts.

Gathering, filtering, interpreting and communicating proper ideas to team members.

Participating in internal and external working groups as well as international meetings, so that skeyes remains informed and can adapt to current developments/trends and decisions made mainly in the field of UTM topics.

• gathering information on developments and new regulations relating to Air/ Unmanned Traffic Management;
• defining the parties who must be informed at skeyes about developments and decisions that have been discussed in working groups and meetings;
• communicating changes, in consultation with UTM management, to all relevant people within skeyes, in order to set up an internal forum with sufficient knowledge to help shape the vision, to 'weigh in' and ensure that it musters the required buy-in;
• ensuring that the necessary procedures are adapted and then followed by the stakeholders, so that skeyes is in compliance with the changes discussed.

• You have insight in ATM and aviation legislation.
• You have an analytical mind and you can devise creative solutions.
• You are able to work effectively in a team environment.
• You should preferably be familiar with Project Management methods.
• You speak excellent English and have a good command of French or Dutch.
