Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando, FL seeks an UR Supervisor to oversee the Utilization Review staff and Department operations. You will ensure medical necessity reviews meet regulatory standards and coordinate responses to denials.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and experience with external review organizations, with Florida licensure preferred. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in social work, mental health related field or equivalent for licensure.
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience with communication with external review organizations in chart analysis and UR field required.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities.
• Valid FL license: RN, LSCW, LMHC, LMFT preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee UR staff and processes to ensure continued authorization Review.
• Ensure knowledge of medical necessity and regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, CMS, EMTALA, HIPAA).
• Oversee written appeal letters for denials and UR activities.
