Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is seeking a dedicated clinician to work with our staff teams to obtain continuing care for patients in Shippensburg, PA. The role focuses on discharge planning and care coordination on acute psychiatric units.

The position offers a Monday–Friday day shift in a supportive environment with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and opportunities for professional growth within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology or related field; practicum in health/human services preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field with two years health/human services experience.
• Current licensure in Pennsylvania as a nurse and nursing degree with two years in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Maintain direct contact with attending practitioner, treatment coordinator, and team to support continuity of care and discharge planning.
• Ensure tracking of utilization reviews and initiate denial process as necessary.
• Aid in coordination of transitions between levels of care.
• Communicate and ensure proper documentation requirements.

Education

Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field

Current Pennsylvania nursing license with two years in behavioral health

Qualifications

UR Coordinator Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Psychology or other related field which includes a practicum in health or human service agency preferred. or
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field and two years of experience in a health or human services agency required or
• current licensure in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing with two years of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
