Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA seeks a dedicated clinician to support our treatment teams in obtaining continuing care for patients. The role offers a Monday–Friday day shift on acute psychiatric units and includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

The center is part of Universal Health Services (UHS), a large nationwide behavioral health network. The incumbent will coordinate with attending practitioners, treatment coordinators, and team members to ensure smooth transitions of care,

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology or related field with practicum preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field with two years of health/human services experience required or
• Current PA nursing licensure with nursing degree and two years in behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing direct contact with attending practitioner, treatment coordinator, and team to support continuity of care and discharge planning.
• Ensure tracking of utilization reviews and initiate denial processes as necessary.
• Aid in coordination of transitions between levels of care.
• Communicate and ensure proper documentation requirements.

Education

Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology or related field

Qualifications

UR Coordinator Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Psychology or other related field which includes a practicum in health or human service agency preferred. or
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field and two years of experience in a health or human services agency required or
• current licensure in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing with two years of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
