Calvary Healing Center in Phoenix seeks an Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator for a full-time daytime role. The position requires clinical screening of admissions, development of treatment plans, and ongoing collaboration with the treatment team, external case managers, and managed care organizations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in social work, mental health, or nursing, at least two years of direct clinical experience, and certifications including Fingerprint Clearance Card, BLS,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, mental health, or nursing.
  • Minimum of two years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
  • Experience in treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • UR Coordinator manages treatment activities including clinical screening of admissions and establishment of treatment plans.
  • Interfacing with the treatment team, external case managers, and managed care organizations.

Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator

Position: Full-Time

Shift: Daytime

For over 60 years, Calvary Healing Center has provided a full continuum of care, specializing in addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area and Nationwide. Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers onsite detoxification and in-patient treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Through our programs we offer many other holistic healing and treatment options complementing our services ranging from yoga, art workshops, and music.

Summary of UR Coordinator Duties: The UR Coordinator is responsible for managing the treatment activities offered to the patient, including the appropriate clinical screening of admissions, establishment of treatment plans and interace with the treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in social work, mental health, or nursing degree.
  • A minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
  • Experience in treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entites.
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification, within 30 days of employment.
  • Completion of Handle With Care Training, within 30 days of employment
