Job summary

Calvary Healing Center, part of Universal Health Services, in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator for a full-time daytime role. The UR Coordinator manages admission screening, treatment planning, and interfaces with the treatment team and external review entities.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of direct psychiatric/mental health care experience, plus BLS/First Aid within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, mental health, or nursing.
• Minimum two years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric/mental health setting.
• Experience in treatment planning and external review communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage treatment activities and admissions screening.
• Establish treatment plans and interface with treatment team and external case managers.
• Coordinate with managed care organizations for authorizations.

Calvary's proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers onsite detoxification and in-patient treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Summary of UR Coordinator Duties: The UR Coordinator is responsible for managing the treatment activities offered to the patient, including the appropriate clinical screening of admissions, establishment of treatment plans and interace with the treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in social work, mental health, or nursing degree.
• A minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
• Experience in treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entites.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification, within 30 days of employment.
• Completion of Handle With Care Training, within 30 days of employment
