Schedule: Tuesday and Thursdays 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, every other weekend 11:00 am - 7:30 pm

As a Dishwasher, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness help ensure our culinary team can provide outstanding service to our residents.
What You Will Do:
- Wash, sanitize, organize, and put away dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares according to established standard.
- Properly operate the dish machine and three-compartment sink, including required temperature and sanitizer checks.
- Complete assigned cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and deep-cleaning assignments.
- Food Preparation & Kitchen Support
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation as directed including : Wash, cut, portion, label, and properly store food items following established procedures.
- Assist with stocking food, supplies, prep areas, serving lines, and kitchen stations. Communicate low-stock items, food quality concerns, equipment issues, or other operational concerns to a supervisor.
- Health Center Meal Service
- Assist with Health Center meal preparation including, plate and serve meals according to resident meal tickets and established procedures. Follow resident therapeutic diets, allergies, and documented food preferences as required.
- Maintain clean, organized Health Center meal service areas.
- Independent Living Dining Support
- Assist with Independent Living dining service as needed based on daily operational needs including help prepare dining rooms and service stations before, during, and after meal service in these areas setting tables, stocking service areas, clearing tables, and maintaining clean dining spaces.
- Bistro Operations
- Work in the Bistro as scheduled or when operational needs require.
- Prepare and serve food and beverage items according to established procedures.
- Stock food, beverages, condiments, paper products, grab-and-go items, and other Bistro supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate items that need to be replenished.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of Bistro equipment, counters, tables, and service areas.
- Assist with Bistro opening and closing duties.
- Provide friendly, timely, and professional customer service to residents and guests.
- Hospitality & Customer Service
- Provide a high level of hospitality to residents, guests, families, and fellow employees in all areas of Food & Beverage
- Listen to requests and respond in a timely and professional manner.
- Anticipate resident and guest needs and assist whenever possible.
- Maintain professionalism, a positive attitude, and appropriate appearance and conduct at all times.Understand that every interaction in the kitchen, dining room, Health Center, or Bistro contributes to the overall resident experience.
- Safety, Organization & Department Support
- Maintain personal cleanliness and follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and PPE requirements.
- Follow all department policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and safety requirements.
- Complete required QA, stocking, cleaning, and shift-closing checklists accurately.
- Maintain organized work areas and use equipment and supplies appropriately.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, spills, hazards, or other issues to a supervisor.
- Work cooperatively with cooks, servers, dietary staff, Bistro staff, supervisors, and other Hospitality team members.
- Be flexible and willing to move between work areas based on the needs of the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of Hospitality Services.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- At least one year of previous food service experience in a nursing home assisted living and/or elderly rehabilitation community, preferred.
- Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, understands requests.
- Ability to work independently and in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
- Possesses ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Must use sound judgement, works well under pressure, and possess strong organizational skills.
