Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to perform manual labor across our service area. The role supports various trades and acts as a feeder position for higher union roles, with pay ranging per our collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy materials and follow instructions.

• Valid driver's license.
• CDL Class A may be required after employment.
• Technical schooling or electrical/mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle material, tools and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Drive cars and trucks.
• Cut grass and brush.
• Cut ice and shovel snow.
• Sweep and clean.
• Rake, scrape, dig, trench, backfill, shovel, lift, carry, flag, traffic control.
