Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern Pennsylvania to help maintain cleanliness and organization across food production and service areas. You will wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, move supplies, and assist with basic set-up and break-down tasks.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for varying shifts including some weekends/holidays. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected; comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize work tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean, and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment with chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap and cleaning materials.
• Walk or move around the facility during shifts.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time and perform other duties as needed.
