Job summary

The Pines at Davidson is hiring a Utility Worker/Dishwasher to keep our high-end dining area clean and sanitary under the guidance of the Executive Chef. You will be part of a team that delivers timely, delicious meals in a pristine, upscale setting.

Qualifications

• Dishwasher experience preferred but not required.
• Able to use chemicals safely.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Able to work well with others.
• Understanding of FIFO (First in First out) stocking practices.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performance of general cleaning duties, inclusive of daily floor cleaning and buffing in the kitchen.
• Performance of dishwashing procedures.
• Performance of "3 sink" pot & dish washing procedure.
• Working with cleaning chemicals.
• Assisting in food preparation as directed.
• Processing and storing incoming orders of food and supplies according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Adherence to all sanitation and food handling protocols.
• Adherence to all safety policies & procedures of The Pines at Davidson and regulatory authorities.
• Maintenance of confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure residents and team members of confidentiality is protected.
• Proper personal appearance and hygiene according to established procedures.
• Assurance that food preparation and storage areas are maintained in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times.
