Job summary

The Woodlands at Furman is hiring a Dishwasher/Utility in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and stocking supplies, with opportunities to assist in food preparation as needed.

You will work in a senior living environment and participate in in-services, while contributing to the cleanliness, safety and smooth operation of the kitchen. Benefits, PTO and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a senior housing environment meeting hospitality and service standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, walk-in refrigerator, and walk-in freezer.
  • Maintain stock in all areas of kitchen, keeping items neat and orderly.
  • Responsible for set-up and in-house maintenance of dish and pot washing areas.
  • Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
  • Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
  • Attend all in-services as required.
  • Ability to receive and check-in deliveries against invoices.
  • Able to work on Holidays, and for pre-planned special events.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and the storing of food and non-food supplies. Assist with food preparation when necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
