Job Overview

Utility Worker with LSG Sky Chefs, the world’s leading provider of end-to-end airline products and services. We are hiring full-time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. Duties / Responsibilities

• Responsible for washing dishes, glasses, silverware and equipment using our large automated commercial dishwashing machine.
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours, for all other departments to run efficiently.
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues.
• Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
• Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen.
• Be able to stand for the full duration of the shift.
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world.
• Comprehend verbal and written specifications in English.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule in this 24 hour operation, 7 days a week.

Eligibility & Requirements

• This is a Union position – must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days.
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently, and 10+ pounds consistently; bend, stoop, twist repeatedly; and stand for 8-12 hours a day.
• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed.
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
