Job summary

WeDriveU in North Carolina (Concord) is seeking a Utility Worker to support our fleet of shuttles. You will fuel vehicles, top-off fluids, inspect interiors, and assist with light maintenance under the Operations Management team.

A valid CDL in NC is required. A minimum of 1 year janitorial or auto detailing experience is preferred. We offer $22.00/hour, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

TheUtility Worker will report to the Operations Management team. They will ensure all vehicles are completely fueled and fluids topped, ready for service at various times of day. They will also be responsible for Vehicle Interior inspection and light maintenance.

As you will be driving buses on public roads, this job requires a valid CDL in North Carolina.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides support to the Maintenance Department and Technicians (e.g. vehicle washing, vehicle or facility cleaning, vehicle fueling, vehicle seat repair, fluid checks, facility maintenance, etc.) in accordance with established schedules
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to multitask and pay extreme attention to detail.

Education and Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred.

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver License) in NC
