Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Utility Worker at Barton College for part-time shifts, including nights and weekends. The role focuses on dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, and stock organization to support a high-standard campus dining program.

You will work in a team, maintain safe work practices, and contribute to a culture of reliability and customer-focused service. Training provided and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must learn standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing work.
• Physically capable of bending, walking and lifting as required.
• Previous dishwashing experience is preferred.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, and/or pans using dish machine or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• May be responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing work
• Ability to exert continuous physical effort including frequent bending, walking and lifting
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred
