Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Utility Worker, Part-Time for Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. This role supports a fast-paced dining operation and helps maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dish area.

You will wash dishes, support storage, and assist with receiving product and stock organization, while upholding safety and quality standards. The position includes pre-employment drug testing and is part-time.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing work.
• Ability to exert continuous physical effort including bending, walking and lifting.
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dish machine or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• May be responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler.
