Job summary

The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, a premier Northeast Florida resort, seeks a Stewarding team member to maintain kitchen cleanliness and support event setup. The role emphasizes teamwork, energy, and independent work ethic in a fast-paced food & beverage environment.

Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a professional kitchen, with training available. This is a full-time role with varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Take responsibility for cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas.
• Participate in event set up and breakdown.
• Be willing to work in a team atmosphere.
• Experience preferred, but will train.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and work in a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up dish-station for safe and proper operation.
• Perform the cleaning and sanitation duties of kitchen and dining room dish and cookware.
• Perform the cleaning and sanitation duties of food & beverage and kitchen equipment.
• Set up banquet tables, chairs and event equipment.
• Perform tasks as requested by culinary leadership team.
• Perform other jobs that will assist in an efficient and top quality running kitchen as assigned by the Executive Chef or F&B Director.
