Job summary

Arizona Water Company in Sedona, AZ is seeking an entry-level Operations team member for a full-time role. You will assist with maintenance of the water distribution system, including meter changes, mains, services, and tank upkeep. Supervisors UW III/IV provide guidance and training.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. A valid Arizona driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate with mechanical/pipefitting/construction aptitude.
• Pipefitting or construction experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work under general direction and supervision from UW III and UW IV.
• Assist with the general maintenance of the water distribution system, including meter change-outs, water main and water service repair/replacement, and water storage tank maintenance.
• Perform independent work on general property maintenance (painting, cleaning, sorting), customer notifications, 1-inch and smaller meter change-outs, and other tasks not requiring continual direction.
• Prepare legible, clear, concise, and complete written reports; map postings; communicate information related to customer service; maintain proper conduct and a positive Company image.
• Be available to work overtime in emergency and planned job assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Details: Entry level position located in Sedona, AZ. Full-time role in Operations. Education requirement is High School - GED. Salary range: $20.01 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Work under general direction and supervision from UW III and UW IV.

• Must be physically able to perform job duties that may involve walking, bending, kneeling, digging, and lifting items of at least seventy-five (75) pounds.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather.
