Job summary

Jobtailor in New York, NY is seeking a reliable general laborer to support production and maintain cleanliness in a manufacturing environment. You will perform material handling, operate basic equipment including a forklift, and follow instructions to move or reorder materials. The role requires punctuality, safety awareness, and the ability to read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous forklift experience preferred but not required
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues
• Some PC skills helpful, but not required
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Ability to attend scheduled shifts, arrive on time, and be ready at the workstation at shift start
