Job summary

Fairmount Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a PRN Utility Worker in our Nutrition Services Department. Located on a 27-acre campus in Roxborough, Philadelphia, you will help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area and handle dishwashing duties.

You will receive deliveries, stock storage and dining areas, and work closely with Dietary Staff, reporting to the Food Services Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior food service experience in a hospial, health care or hospitality setting preferred
• Knowledge of basic math, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety and infection control practices preferred

Located on a 27-acre wooded campus, Fairmount Behavioral Health System is a peaceful, therapeutic environment for patients and families. Fairmount is a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency needs. The spacious campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a PRN Utility Worker to join our team in our Nutrition Services Department. The PRN Utility Worker will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area, assuming dishwashing responsibilities. Receive incoming deliveries, maintain stock in storage and dining areas. The PRN Utility Worker will work closely with our Dietary Staff and will report to the Food Services Manager.
