Wisteria at Warner Center is opening in Summer 2026 and seeks a Kitchen Utility Worker to join our founding team in Woodland Hills, California. The role performs pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning and storage of supplies in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to a brand-new retirement community.

This full-time, onsite position offers compensation of $22.45 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities as part of our startup team.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning commercial kitchens (1+ year).
• Able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Able to set up and operate dishwashing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans kitchen thoroughly daily.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area, and washes pots, dishes and utensils.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Empties all trash containers in kitchen into dumpster daily.
• Keeps storerooms, freezers and refrigerators clean.
• Mops floors at designated times.
• Stores food and non-food supplies, restocking provisions after deliveries.
• Limited preparations of vegetables and provisions in time of need, under direct supervision.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Kitchen Utility Worker performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

This is a full time, onsite, position located in Woodland Hills, California.
