Stoneridge Creek in Pleasanton, CA is hiring an entry-level to mid-level Utility Worker for kitchen duties. The role is full-time, 40 hours/week, with a 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM shift. Pay is $21.00 – $23.00 per hour, plus bonuses and annual pay increases.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, pot washing, cleaning, food storage, and helping in food preparation under supervision. Benefits and PTO are offered.

• Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans kitchen thoroughly daily, including mopping floors.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area, and washes pots, dishes and utensils.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to schedules.
• Empties all trash containers in kitchen into dumpster daily.
• Keeps storerooms, freezers and refrigerators clean.
• Mops floors at designated times.
• Stores food and non-food supplies, restocking provisions after deliveries.
• Limited preparations of vegetables and provisions under supervision.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Utility Worker performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and nonfood supplies.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

• Cleans kitchen thoroughly daily, including mopping floors at designated times.

CRITICAL FUNCTION:

• This position is essential to the safety of our residents and staff; and to the operation and function of the community. Employee may be recalled to report to work for an emergency, unusual occurrence, resident care need, visit from regulatory/governing agencies or any other event deemed necessary by the Executive Director, Administrator, and designee.
