Job summary

Transdev North America in Savannah, GA is seeking a Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties while delivering excellent customer service with a strong safety focus. You will help ensure buses and facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning fleet vehicles, fueling buses, logging fluid levels, and performing light maintenance. You will also support daily operations with clerical tasks using Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

  • Customer service-oriented with safety focus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Job description

Transdev in Savannah, GA is hiring a Service Employee. The Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles (interior and exterior).
  • Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles safely within the facility and designated areas.
  • Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and accurately log and record all fluid levels and usage.
  • Download drive camera footage and probe fare boxes as required.
  • Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
  • Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Perform basic clerical and administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records, entering data, and using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to support daily operations.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and the ability to perform routine clerical and data entry tasks.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
  • Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
