Job summary

Trinidad Benham in Colgate, ND is seeking a hands-on Warehouse/Bulk Operations worker to operate equipment, assist with loading and unloading, and support warehouse activities. The role requires attention to safety, ability to follow GMP/SQF procedures, and willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Work hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00am–5:30pm, with some Fridays possibly required. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based in Colgate, ND, with benefits and

Responsibilities

• Load and unloads rail cars and trucks as needed.
• Weighs product for storage in warehouse.
• Cleans in and around equipment and the warehouse area.
• Operates tractor, forklift, skid steer or similar equipment as required.
• Communicates with management and maintenance to facilitate repairs.
• Follows GMP and SQF procedures and documents required forms.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour

What you’ll be doing

Utilities are utilized in a variety of ways throughout the facility. They help with loading & unloading product, driving different equipment, helping in the warehouse, and many others. The candidate must be safety-minded and have good attention to detail.

• Loads and unloads rail cars and trucks as needed
• Weighs product for storage in warehouse
• Cleans in and around equipment as needed
• Cleans warehouse as needed
• Drives tractor, lawn mower, forklift, skid steer or other equipment.
• Communicates with management and maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
• Complies with company safety policies and maintains clean and orderly work area.
• Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Work conditions

• Frequently required to: stand and/or walk, use ladders and climb stairs, bend and stoop, reach, push/pull, kneel and crouch. Lift, carry and/or move items up to 50 pounds, without assistance; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, to verbally communicate; and to hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
