Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a UVM Technician to inspect distribution right-of-ways and access to ROW areas, ensuring compliance with clearance standards.

You will identify needed tree and brush work, communicate with line-clearance crews, document with handheld devices, and notify property owners of upcoming work. Occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and storms are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with tree work and related operations.
• ISA Arborist certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Commercial pesticide license required or obtainable.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ROWs for compliance with clearance standards.
• Identify needed tree/brush work and message line-clearance crews.
• Document work with handheld computer.
• Notify property owners of pending work.
• Audit contractor work and negotiate crew access.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and storms.
