Wolf Tree, Inc. in Johnson City, TN is seeking a dynamic utility tree trimmer to join a crew focused on safety and service for major electric utilities.

Your office is outdoors with a changing view each day as you climb and work on trees with various climbing systems. Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license and may have CDL-A/B with Airbrake endorsements, line clearance experience, pesticide licenses if required, and arborist certifications.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred: CDL-A/B with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses if state law requires.
• Preferred: ISA/TCIA arborist certifications.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems.
• Perform pruning and removal for electric utility clients.
• Remove broken limbs from lines, roofs, and structures.
• Identify tree species and apply pruning guidelines.
• Maintain and operate chainsaws, chippers, lifts and related gear.
• Work as part of a ground crew with foreperson.
