Job summary

Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Utility Technician to support Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Planning in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on equipment upkeep, process support, data collection, and intra-team collaboration, with a shift from 5:00pm to 5:00am; requires high school diploma and basic tool/machine familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience with equipment and processes preferred.
• Familiar with computers, spreadsheets, hand tools, power tools, and cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility infrastructure (5S/lean practices).
• Assist operations by setting up and operating equipment, moving materials, and configuring workstations; maintain 5S cleanliness.
• Assist engineers with installation, calibration, and process improvements; collect and report operational data.
• Support quality assurance activities, including basic inspection and document reviews; follow QMS.
• Provide daily updates of jobs at each workstation and communicate any quality issues.

Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy manufactures turbine engine components like turbine nozzles, turbine vanes, complete turbine engines (both manufacturing and repair), diffusers, honeycomb seals and segments, heat shields, and parts for various turbomachinery.

Our 90,000-square foot facility located in Cincinnati, Ohio houses a dedicated team of 50+ highly skilled professionals and constantly expands its production capabilities. Our products are globally shipped to customers far and wide.

The Utility Technician plays a critical support role across Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality and Planning functions to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant aerospace manufacturing processes. This multi-functional role involves equipment upkeep, facility support, operational process assistance, technical collaboration with engineering teams, and support of quality control initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexibly across teams in a fast-paced, high-standards aerospace environment.

The working shift is 5:00pm - 5:00am.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Facilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility infrastructure (5S / lean practices).

Operational Support

• Assist production operations by setting up and operating equipment, moving materials, and configuring workstations. Maintaining cleanliness of production and support areas (5S / lean practices).

Engineering Support

• Assist engineers with equipment installation, modification, calibration, and process improvements. Collect, document, and report operational data to aid engineering analysis.

Quality Support

• Support quality assurance activities, including basic inspection of parts and documentation reviews. Help ensure configuration management principles are followed (QMS).

Planning Support

• Provide daily updates of jobs at each workstation and how many parts are complete and any quality issues preventing movement of parts from one work area to another.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1+ experience working with equipment and processes is a plus
• Familiarity with computers, spreadsheets, hand tools, power tools, and cleaning suppliers
