Job summary

Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc. is seeking a manual and semi-skilled worker for construction, maintenance and repair tasks in Water Distribution, Collections, or Stormwater divisions.

Work includes operating power tools, basic measurements, and following safety guidelines to support unrelated city infrastructure projects. Position may require shifts and overtime; full compliance with licensing requirements is needed, including CDL where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Experience with manual and semi-skilled labor a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and road maps.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and semi-skilled construction, maintenance and repair tasks.
• Locate utilities and perform simple measurements under guidance.
• Operate power tools, equipment and small machinery.
• Assist with cleanup, material handling and vehicle upkeep.
• Work in teams and follow safety procedures.
