Aggreko plc in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Utility Technician to support power solutions across events, mining operations, and remote sites. You’ll work from the Jacksonville service center, loading and unloading equipment, verifying counts, cleaning, and maintaining safety standards.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and up to 3 years in a yard or warehouse, plus strong customer service, reliability, and willingness to work overtime.

What you’ll do as a Utility Technician:

• You’ll be based out of our Jacksonville, FL. service center.
• Load and unload equipment and materials with large and small forklifts.

Other essential job requirements

• Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices.
• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level.
• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders.
• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat.
