Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Utility Technician based in Pearland, TX. You will be based at the Pearland service center, handling loading/unloading, equipment prep, and inventory checks for rental gear.

You will maintain safety standards, assist with yard/workflow, and participate in overtime as needed. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-3 years of yard or warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and safety emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Based at Pearland, TX service center.
• Load and unload equipment with forklifts.
• Verify counts of rental equipment prior to delivery/arrival.
• Clean and store rental equipment after use.
• Maintain clean, safe jobsite, yard, and warehouse.
• Drive inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Wash rental equipment and inspect cables.

What you'll do:

• You'll be based out of our Pearland, TXservice center.
• Load and unload equipment and materials with large and small forklifts.
• Prepare and verify quality/accuracy of counts of rental equipment prior to delivery and arrival
• Clean and put away rental equipment upon return to service center
• Keep the jobsite, yard, and warehouse cleaned and up to safety standards
• Drive inventory accuracy of rental equipment and accessories
• Inventory cycle counts
• Wash rental equipment
• Inspect and repair cable

You are:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• 0-3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Embraces and promotes safety culture
• Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
• Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance
• Able to work overtime, travel and on-call
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75lbs.

• Must be able to stand,walkand sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrainwith functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices
• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that willpermitwork to be safely performed from ground / floor level tofull overhead level
• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items,functional hand-eye coordination, andfunctionally grip with adequate strength to safelyhold tools and stair railing or ladders
• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat
