Aggreko in Dallas, TX invites you to join as a Utility Technician - Events, supporting broadcast power for live sports and media productions.

Based out of the Dallas service center, you will travel to jobsites across the US, load and unload equipment, verify counts, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED, or equivalent.
  • 0–3 years of yard/warehouse experience.
  • Excellent customer service and safety-focused mindset.
  • Willing to work overtime, travel and be on call.
  • Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload rental equipment and materials with forklifts on jobsites.
  • Travel to jobsites across the US as needed.
  • Prepare and verify quality/quantity counts of rental equipment before delivery.
  • Clean and store rental equipment upon return to service center.
  • Maintain clean and safe jobsite, yard, and warehouse areas.
  • Drive inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Utility Technician - Events based in Dallas, TX. You’ll be part of an elite technician team that supports specialized broadcast power for live sports and media productions with networks such as ESPN, NBC, and CBS, understanding their unique site setup requirements and timelines.

What you’ll do as a Utility Technician:
  • Based out of our Dallas, TX - AES service center
  • Travel to Jobsites as needed across the US.
  • Load and unload rental equipment and materials with large and small forklifts on jobsites
  • Prepare and verify quality/accuracy of counts of rental equipment prior to delivery and arrival
  • Clean and put away rental equipment upon return to service center
  • Keep the jobsite, yard, and warehouse cleaned and up to safety standards
  • Drive inventory accuracy of rental equipment and accessories
  • Inventory cycle counts
  • Wash rental equipment
  • Inspect and repair cable
You are:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Embraces and promotes safety culture
  • Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
  • Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance
  • Able to work overtime, travel and on-call
  • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75lbs.

  • Availability to work the assignedschedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be onstandbyfor work outside of regularly scheduledshifts
  • Must be able to stand,walkand sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrainwith functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices
  • Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that willpermitwork to be safely performed from ground / floor level tofull overhead level
  • Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items,functional hand-eye coordination, andfunctionally grip with adequate strength to safelyhold tools and stair railing or ladders
  • Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat
