Overview Of The Position
Primarily responsible for supporting composite and machine shop operations and other activity required to support repair with the authority to carry out all assigned tasks.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support shop floor and individual cells by cleaning, quoting, washing, testing, blasting, masking, coating, screen/composite repair, painting, material handling and assembly and disassembly of parts for repair and other activity as required
- Follow all work instructions and complete all quality documentation as required
- Must be mentally coherent and free from the influence of drugs (either illegal or legally prescribed drugs that may cause impairment) while performing in the capacity of "safety-sensitive" duties/operations per FAA regulations
- Perform any additional tasks as required
- Ensure adherence to Safety Rules and Regulations
- Ensure high levels of housekeeping are maintained within work area
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with QHSE policy

- Knowledge of company's policies and procedures
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software
- Knowledge of basic data entry and/or word processing
- Knowledge of test equipment (i.e. Dyno Test)
- Knowledge of machine shop theory, shop mathematics and measurement equipment
- Skilled in oral and written communication (English)
- Skilled in working with composite material
- Ability to read blue prints and job specific routers
- Ability to conduct proper part preparation including cleaning of parts
- Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral)
