Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Utility Technician I to support water, wastewater and drainage facilities. You will perform general labor, assist with repairs, inspections and routine maintenance while following safety procedures.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and on-call. You should be comfortable around water and sewage and able to operate common tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow manual and operating instructions.

The Utility Technician I is responsible for performing various general labor activities that provide assistance at the jobsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repairs and maintains items on water, wastewater and drainage facilities.
• Makes scheduled inspections.
• Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair.
• Shovels dirt and gravel.
• Maintains inventory of parts and maintenance supplies.
• Cleans office including vacuuming, sweeping, trash pickup, bathroom/kitchen clean up.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or ged.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid Driver's License and maintains insurable driving record.

TECHNICAL:

Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices. Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs. Ability to work with required tools (including jack hammer, demolishing saw, etc.). Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage.

COMMUNICATION:
