Job summary

Inframark is seeking a hands-on Utility Technician to perform general labor at water, wastewater and drainage facilities, supporting field operations and ensuring safe, reliable systems. You will follow manual instructions and SOPs while maintaining safety practices on site.

You will inspect and repair equipment, perform routine maintenance, manage parts inventory, and assist with lawn, grounds and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Follow manual and operating instructions; basic knowledge of safety practices.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs; work with required tools.
• Comfortable around water/raw sewage.

Utility Technician

The Utility Technician is responsible for performing various general labor activities that provide assistance at the jobsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repairs and maintains items on water, wastewater and drainage facilities.
• Makes scheduled inspections.
• Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair.
• Shovels dirt and gravel.
• Maintains inventory of parts and maintenance supplies.
• Cleans office including vacuuming, sweeping, trash pickup, bathroom/kitchen clean up.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or ged.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver’s License and maintains insurable driving record.

TECHNICAL: Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices. Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs. Ability to work with required tools (including jack hammer, demolishing saw, etc.). Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage.
