Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Utility Technician for evening shifts (6:00pm–2:30am). The role focuses on routine maintenance, safety compliance, and quality workmanship across diverse facilities. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot tools, and perform light cleaning tasks as part of a team.

Preference given to candidates with a GED or high school diploma, a valid driver’s license (clear MVR), and forklift certification if required. Competitive benefits are provided by SBM.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clear MVR; forklift certification may be required.
• Safety and task training certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and safety compliance in various settings.
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles and power tools; replace broken components.
• Follow directions, work as part of a team, and maintain customer service standards.
• Utilize Boom Lift/Highlift for high-rise cleaning tasks and related duties.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety rules and procedures.

The individual will conduct preventative maintenance to increase effectiveness and alleviate the need for major repairs.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
