Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Utility Technician for night shifts in the California area. The role covers preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and basic repair tasks across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clear MVR; forklift certification may be required; safety training completed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles and troubleshoot power tools or production machines.
• Inspect work processes to ensure projects turn out correctly.
• Take direction and perform team-based work assignments.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• May perform high-rise window cleaning and related duties with Boom Lift/Highlift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Title: Utility Tech Job Description: Compensation: $19.65 per hour Shift: Sunday-Thursday 7:00PM-3:30AM

Job Overview The Utility Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance activities in a variety of work environments. The individual will conduct preventative maintenance to increase effectiveness and alleviate the need for major repairs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain clean work area and complies with company safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Follow posted safety standards and wears personal protective equipment when necessary
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles, troubleshoot power tools or replace a broken component on a production machine
• Inspect work process to ensure all projects turn out correctly
• Take direction and responds to supervision and performs work assignments in a team with other employees
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• May utilize Boom Lift/Highlift to complete the following:
• High rise Window Cleaning
• High Rise Dusting
• Cleaning of stainless steel and frames utilizing Light Cleaning
• Other duties as assigned
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualification

• Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma / GED - preferred.
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent experience - preferred
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver’s license with clear MVR. May be required to have forklift certification. Completed all safety and task training certifications
