Job summary

SBM in Armonk, NY is seeking a Utility Technician to perform routine maintenance across a variety of environments. You will conduct preventative maintenance to increase reliability and reduce major repairs, inspect and repair fleet vehicles, and troubleshoot power tools or replace worn components.

Safety and teamwork are essential: follow posted standards, wear PPE, and contribute to customer satisfaction. For high rise tasks you may operate a Boom Lift/Highlift for window cleaning and light

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clear MVR; forklift certification may be required.
• Safety training certifications completed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety rules.
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles; troubleshoot power tools or replace components.
• Ensure work processes meet project requirements; work in a team with others.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE; support customer service goals.
• Operate Boom Lift/Highlift for high rise window cleaning and related tasks.

Education

The individual will conduct preventative maintenance to increase effectiveness and alleviate the need for major repairs.**Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
