The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an incumbent to manage repair and operational duties for various utility systems at the Cincinnati Medical Center. Duties
The Cincinnati VA Medical Center (CVAMC) is a two-division campus located in Cincinnati, OH, and Fort Thomas, KY, serving 15 counties in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. It includes 6 Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Bellevue, KY; Florence, KY; Lawrenceburg, IN; Hamilton, OH; Clermont County, OH; and Georgetown, OH. The CVAMC also supports two off-campus locations in the Cincinnati area via an Eye Center and Mental Health Outreach Community Division.

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 06/25/2025.
Experience: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must demonstrate evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality to perform the work of this position. Evidence should be detailed in your resume. Applicants will be rated according to the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.
Screen-out element: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen-out element, which appears as question 1 in the online questionnaire. Those meeting the minimum requirements are considered for further rating; others are rated ineligible. Eligible candidates are then rated against the remaining job elements:
Experience includes paid, unpaid, volunteer work through programs like Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and other organizations. Volunteer work helps build relevant skills and experience and counts toward qualification.
Note: A full year of work is considered 35-40 hours per week. Part-time experience is credited proportionally. Applicants should specify their duties, responsibilities, and hours worked per week.
