Job summary

Clifty Group is seeking a Utility Superintendent to lead field crews on underground utility projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will coordinate installation of water, sewer, and related infrastructure, read blueprints, and communicate with project managers and clients.

The role requires driving to job sites, supervising crews, and traveling as needed to meet project requirements. This position emphasizes strong leadership and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in utility construction with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of underground installation methods, excavation, grading, and heavy equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel as project needs require.

This position ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications while maintaining quality standards and leading field crews.

• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure efficient project execution.
• Coordinate project schedules, materials, inspections, and equipment with project management.
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable regulations.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and project progress while resolving field issues as they arise.
