Job Description

Since opening in 1916, the Omni William Penn Hotel has been a landmark in Pittsburgh, hosting distinguished guests and undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to maintain its reputation for excellence. We are now hiring a Utility Steward (Dishwasher) to join our team. Come and be part of Pittsburgh's #1 hotel!

Responsibilities

The Utility Steward is responsible for cleaning pots, pans, and all cookware, maintaining the cleanliness of the washing area and kitchen floor, storing clean items properly, emptying trash, operating trash compactors, and transporting hot boxes from the kitchen to banquet spaces. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications

Applicants must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 150 pounds. Availability to work all shifts, including mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts, is required.

Wages are based on union contracted rates: $14.87 for the first 3 months, $15.69 after 3 months, and $16.52 after 6 months. Union dues are $41.25 per month. Weekly paychecks are provided.
