Job summary

Eau Resort & Spa Palm Beach in Manalapan, FL is seeking a Utility Steward (PM) to support our Forbes Five-Star standards with efficient cleaning and dishwashing operations.

You will work the 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM shift, including weekends and holidays, helping maintain clean and organized kitchen, dishwashing, and support areas, while upholding safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Ability to count.
• Familiarity with proper sanitation regulations.
• Certification in sanitation.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Ability to perform duties with attention to details, speed, accuracy, follow-through, and cooperativeness.
• Ability to adapt to meet priority changes of workflow or requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Utility Steward will be responsible for completing special cleaning projects as assigned, following hotel specifications and standards.
• This role will include cleaning and maintaining equipment and dishwashing/kitchen/cafeteria/compactor/storage areas, while assisting in other stewarding functions as assigned.
• We have a full-time opening available.
• This role is a PM position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays and evenings.

We are seeking a Utility Steward to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Role Summary:

The Utility Steward will be responsible for completing special cleaning projects as assigned, following hotel specifications and standards. This role will include cleaning and maintaining equipment and dishwashing/kitchen/cafeteria/compactor/storage areas, while assisting in other stewarding functions as assigned.

We have a Full-Time opening available.

This role is a P.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays and evenings/overnight.

Work Schedule - 5:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M.

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
• Ability to count.
• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
• Previous experience in janitorial/cleaning position.
• Familiarity with proper sanitation regulations.
• Certification in sanitation.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Ability to perform duties with attention to details, speed, accuracy, follow-through, and cooperativeness.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to adapt to meet priority changes of workflow or requirements.
• Ability to operate designated machinery.
• Ability to remain extremely alert while operating machinery.
• Ability to exert physical effort in transporting equipment and wares.
• Ability to withstand high temperatures, moisture, and noise levels in work areas.
