Job summary

Green Country Village Senior Living in Bartlesville, OK, is seeking a FT Steward/Dishwasher to support our Culinary Services team. You will wash dishes, assist with pot-washing, and help keep kitchens clean and organized throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Senior Living or hospitality experience preferred.
• Commercial dishwasher experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dish-washing, pot-washing, and general kitchen cleaning.
• Store food and supplies and assist with basic prep.
• Maintain safe, sanitary, and orderly kitchen areas.
• Assist kitchen staff and support dining services as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Senior Living community experience is preferred.
• Commercial Dishwasher experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand/walk for 100% of the work day (4-8-hour shift).
• Ability to independently life, balance, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to access and navigate full campus .
• Ability to function efficiently despite distractions and interruptions.

General Summary:

The FT Steward/Dishwasher position is responsible for the following:dish-washing, pot-washing; general kitchen cleaning duties; storing food and non-food supplies; and other duties as assigned.

• Maintains safe, sanitary, and orderly conditions in all work areas; promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents and staff at all times.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, floors, work surfaces, and other work areas according to specified cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Performs all dish, pot, and utensil washing following all meals.
• Assists kitchen staff with storing food and non-food supplies as directed including breaking down all boxes before placing them in trash receptacles.
• Other duties as assigned.
