Job summary

HarborChase, LLC. in Florida is seeking a Utility Associate to perform dishwashing, trash control, and general cleaning duties in the food and beverage department. The role supports a safe, clean kitchen and dining area for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize production equipment and kitchen surfaces according to schedules.
• Assist in food preparation as directed by supervisor.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the Director of Food and Beverage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

Job description

Position Summary:

The utility associate performs a variety of tasks in the food and beverage department including but not limited to dishwashing, trash control, and helping to maintain and clean and safe kitchen environment.

Essential Functions:

• Performs dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining room area
• Assist in ordering and storage of food and non-food products
• Sets up and maintains the pot and dish washing area
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• Empties trash containers as requiredAssists in the preparation of food as directed by supervisor
• Notify Dir. of Food and Beverage or any malfunctioning kitchen equipment or appliances
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen
• The ability to work in a safe and alert manner
• The ability to take ownership for associate’s safety and the safety of the residents
• Must disclose any medication that might impair associate’s ability to perform the job safely or competently.

Non-Essential Functions:

• Attends required community meetings and participates Life Enrichment activities when able
• Completes all required courses in adherence with HRA University
