Job summary

Station Casinos' Durango property seeks a Utility Specialist to join Internal Maintenance. The role focuses on keeping casino and public areas clean, safe, and well-maintained with a personal touch of luxury.

You will move and arrange furniture, restock supplies, clean floors and finishes, and assist with waste removal, while meeting safety standards and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous public-area cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop and reach up to 6 feet, and push/pull/move items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of casino and public areas, including walls, ceilings and vents.
• Move furniture and relocate equipment as needed.
• Stock par levels of supplies in porter closets.
• Remove trash and broken glass.
• Clean and maintain marble, stone and high-end finishes.

While there are several tasks that define your role, you will need to be really good at making it easy for our guests: delivering service with a personal touch and delighting others whenever possible, all with an approachable sense of luxury. Most of the time, you will be:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of casino and public areas. Cleaning biohazard spills and contaminated areas generally. Cleaning walls, ceilings and vents.
• Moving furniture, rearranging, and relocating furniture and equipment.
• Stocking and maintaining par levels of supplies in all porter closets.
• Picking up and removing trash and broken glass.
• Properly cleaning and maintaining marble and stone
• Properly cleaning and maintain all flooring in the casino
• Cleaning and maintaining high-end finishes using specialist products
